This place was just an optimal selection for a momentary pause in Mandan with incredible value for money. The dinner at the wedding was incredible. the beef medallions were the best meal I've had! Make sure to check out the staff—they're friendly and attentive.

baymont had a great indoor pool area, which is perfect for families. it was also conveniently located near the racetrack, making it easy for us to get there and back. the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. we really appreciated their prompt service when we needed assistance.

I spent 2 nights here, and while the staff was very nice, the hotel's condition left much to be desired. The pool was a hit with the kids, but the breakfast was just satisfactory. The bathroom had seen some renovations, but the rooms felt outdated overall. There's potential, but it needs some TLC.

fantastic central spot for park views and local attractions

During my stay, I found the staff friendly and accommodating. The comfortable beds made for a restful night, which was perfect for preparing for all the nearby explorations, from the North Dakota State Railroad Museum just almost 2 km away to the beautiful Harmon Lake about 4 km away, both offering fantastic opportunities for nice walks and lovely views.

The king room was comfy enough and clean. The hotel had a nice pool and decent amenities for a quick stay. Great little spot to crash after a long drive!

But I swear the mattress was auditioning for a role as a circus trampoline! And could someone please explain why the hallway looked like a smoke-filled sauna?

However, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired, as there were stains in the carpets and signs of wear in the bathroom.

Liked everything.

I enjoyed the kids' swimming area, especially the water slide which my children loved. The breakfast area was nice, and it felt welcoming. The hotel looked like it hasn’t been updated in years, which made the overall vibe a bit dated. We had a problem with our bed that looked like it had been slept in, which was disappointing. Finding the remote under the bed along with a dirty pillowcase wasn’t ideal. It felt like the staff did their best given the circumstances, but the cleanliness of the rooms needs addressing. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some fun moments for the kids but definitely areas needing improvement.

The only saving grace was Katie at the front desk! She was nice and really understood how bad the situation was, which was appreciated. Our rooms were a mess with dirty floors and the whole place seemed like it hadn't seen any cleaning in years. Plus, when we got to our room, there was this gross smell-just fantastic, right?

Honestly, it wasn't exactly a bargain but I guess you get what you pay for.
